For those of you who don't already know, Barrett Twp. is undergoing ordinance changes. These changes affect all residents and it is very important for us to all know and understand what these changes are and mean for us. Please attend the meeting Thurs. night. For more details you can find a copy of the draft ordinances on the Barrett Township website. This is a public event so please forward invites to other Township residents. Thank You.

We will close SR 0191 entirely at the split of SR 0191 and SR0447 (near Sugar Cane Lane), on Monday April 15, 2013.  The detour will be in effect thru November 2013.

Dear Aqua Mountainhome Customers:

I am writing to let you know about a water infrastructure improvement project that Aqua Pennsylvania, Inc. (Aqua) is scheduled to begin in your area in the next week.

Aqua will begin an $840,000 project to replace approximately 4,858 feet of old undersized pipe with new 8-inch ductile iron pipe that will eliminate leaks and improve service reliability for customers. The project on Rt. 390 will extend from Price's Drive south to the area near CVS.

Construction is scheduled to take place Monday through Friday between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. and is expected to be complete late this summer.

This meeting is of massive importance.  All Barrett and Paradise residents MUST attend to have their voices heard!  There is LOTS of talk regaurding the opening of a Charter School if Barrett is closed.  I and MANY parents are for this.  We need to stand behind our children's education and social well being.  We want to see Barrett succeed and remain open, but if it does not, then a Charter may be our only alternative!  Please pass this information on.  There are people who have been working on this for months now and need our support.  More information will be announced at the hearing, Monday night.
