Special Needs Crossroads Café 2014-15…the Mountainhome United Methodist Church’s Special Needs Crossroads Cafe will be opening for another year of fun on Friday evenings. The Cafe is open to teens and young adults with special needs 13 years of age and up. Here is some more information for you: We are located at the Mountainhome United Methodist Church’s Ministry Building at the intersection of Route 390 and Route 191 in Mountainhome (across from the Mountainhome Diner). The Café will be open from 7 p.m. till 9 p.m. We do things like: Air hockey, Pool, Foosball, games, music, Karaoke, Hoop shoot, ping pong, etc. (Parents are invited to stay). The Café will be open on the following dates: 1st Friday of the month February 6, 2015; March 6, 2015; April 3, 2015; and May 1, 2015.
Church History Books…about the Mountainhome UMC written by Dr. William Burry in 1984 are for sale for $5.00. They will be available at the craft table during the flea markets and the antique show or by asking the pastor for a copy. The books will also be available at the Barrett Friendly Library and at the Cresco Station Museum. Other Historical items which can be purchased are pewter and china church plates and a variety of cookbooks.
T-SHIRTS for sale…the Mountainhome United Methodist Church is selling T-shirts featuring the Cross and Crown symbol that is also the design in one of our windows. Shirts are $15.00 and can be purchased from Cathy Stout (570-595-9056) or through the church office (570-595-2077).
Liztech Pin Stained Glass Window Fundraiser…pins are still available for purchase. This fundraiser is being done to raise funds for the Church’s glass window restoration project. Purchase your pin by contacting the Church Office at (570) 595-2077.
Church’s Ministry Center…is available for birthday parties, showers and other events. Contact Mickey Miller 570-595-7390 to make arrangements.
